What is Coral?
Coral is a focus timer and app blocker for Android. You plant a coral and focus; stay with it and it grows into a colorful resident of your reef. Give up, and it withers. It also lets you block or limit the apps that steal your time.
Is Coral free?
Yes. The focus timer, your reef, app blocking and limits, and focus charts are all free. An optional Coral Pro upgrade adds extras like exclusive coral species.
How does the focus timer work?
Pick 10 to 180 minutes, or run an open-ended stopwatch. Your coral grows in real time as you focus, and long sessions grow whole coral clusters. Every finished session also earns coins you can spend on new coral species.
Can Coral block Instagram, TikTok, and other apps?
Yes. Put any apps into a group and either block them outright or give them a daily time budget. When it's spent, they're blocked until tomorrow. You can also add an opening delay, a short countdown before a distracting app opens. Everything is processed on your device and is never collected or shared.
Can it limit just YouTube Shorts?
Yes. Coral can block or limit only the Shorts player while the rest of YouTube stays usable.
What happens if I give up a session?
The coral you were growing withers, and stays on your reef as a reminder. You can clear withered corals with coins you've earned by focusing, or let them stand.
Does Coral collect my data?
No. Coral has no account, no ads, and no analytics. Your reef, stats and settings all live on your device, and uninstalling deletes them. See the privacy policy.
