Data Deletion

Coral: Focus & App Blocker · by SulfurByte

This page explains how to delete all data associated with Coral: Focus & App Blocker ("Coral"), the app by SulfurByte.

Coral has no accounts and no analytics. Almost all of your data exists only on your own device, and you can delete it yourself at any time. The only data held outside your device is an anonymous purchase record (see below).

Delete the data on your device

Everything you do in the app (your focus-session history, coin balance, settings, and app-limit groups) is stored only on your phone. To delete it:

  1. Uninstall Coral: this permanently deletes all of the app's local data; or
  2. Keep the app but clear its data: open Android's Settings → Apps → Coral → Storage → Clear data.

Either way the deletion is immediate and complete. We keep no copy, this data was never uploaded anywhere.

Delete the anonymous purchase record

If you purchased a Coral Pro subscription, our subscription provider RevenueCat holds a minimal purchase record: a randomly generated anonymous identifier for your app installation, your purchase receipt, basic device information (device model, OS version, app version), and the IP address of the device's requests. It contains no name, email address, or anything about how you use the app.

To have this record deleted:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Coral data deletion request".
  2. Include your Google Play order number so we can find the anonymous record (it looks like GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567 and is in the receipt email Google Play sent you when you subscribed; you can also find it under your transactions at payments.google.com).
  3. We will forward the request to RevenueCat and confirm to you when the deletion is complete.

If you never purchased a subscription, no such record exists and there is nothing to delete on our side.

What is deleted, what is kept

  • Deleted on uninstall / clear data: all in-app data (sessions, reef, coins, settings, app-limit groups), immediately and permanently.
  • Deleted on request: the anonymous RevenueCat purchase record described above.
  • Kept: Google Play's own record of your purchases is managed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and cannot be deleted by us. Your subscription itself is managed in the Play Store's Subscriptions screen.

There is no additional retention period on our side, we have no servers and store no other data.
